Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I'm so glad you're here.
Therapy is vulnerable. If you’re wondering whether I’m someone who will get what you’re carrying—you’re not alone in that. Here’s a bit more about who I am and how I show up in this work.

This Isn’t Just What I Do—It’s Personal
I became a therapist for people who’ve felt silenced in places they thought would hold them.
I’ve always felt a little out of place—like I was too much in some spaces and not enough in others.
I tried to make myself fit, to shrink or shift in ways that might finally make me feel like I belonged. But over time, those efforts started to feel like a quiet betrayal of who I really was.
There was grief in that. Grief in not belonging. Grief in wondering if I ever would.
That grief eventually became a guide.
My own experiences with spiritual pain and birth trauma deepened my belief in gentler spaces—where people are met with honesty, softness, and zero pressure to explain why they’re struggling.
Therapy became the first place I didn’t feel like I had to hold it all together. That sense of relief, of exhale, of home—that’s what I want to offer others now.
I became a therapist for people who’ve felt silenced, invisible, or overwhelmed in places they thought would hold them.
For the ones who carry stories shaped by faith, family, caregiving, or trauma—and are just trying to find their way back to themselves.
Belonging isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about coming home to yourself.
Therapy with me is relational, steady, and real. I’m here to hold space for the parts of you that feel too big, too messy, or too hard to carry alone—but I’m also here to offer guidance when you feel stuck or unsure of how to move forward.
For people navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or high internal pressure, I don’t just listen—I help you understand what’s happening and work with you to create new patterns of safety and clarity.
We’ll go at your pace. We’ll talk about the hard things, the honest things, the things you’ve been keeping quiet for a long time. And through it all, I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and a deep belief that change is possible.

Training, Experience, & What I Bring to the Work
I earned my PhD in Counselor Education because I care deeply about how therapy is done—not just the theory, but the human relationship at the center of it.
My training taught me how to offer evidence-based care, how to hold complexity with clarity, and how to keep showing up for clients with humility, steadiness, and compassion.
I’ve completed specialized training in perinatal mental health and often work with clients navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or the long echoes of religious harm.
My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a values-based framework that helps you move toward what matters—even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or symptom checklists. It’s about creating space to become more fully yourself.
